Dr. Wang is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with over a decade of clinical experience in the Metro Detroit area. She holds a Ph.D. in tooth regeneration and a Master’s in Restorative Dentistry, with advanced training in cosmetic and restorative procedures.
Originally trained in China, Dr. Wang continued her education in the U.S., where her research has been published in leading dental journals. Her clinical expertise spans preventive care, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, crowns, extractions, root canals, and implants.
As a mother to a son with autism, Dr. Wang brings a deeply empathetic and patient-centered approach to care. She is committed to creating a calm, inclusive environment where every patient feels supported and understood.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and giving back to the community she loves.
Dr. Chen is an American Board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon committed to preserving natural dentition and delivering long-lasting care. She earned her dental degree, completed a prosthodontic residency, and received her PhD from West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University. She then completed her periodontal residency and Master of Science in Periodontics at the University of Michigan, where she received the Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence in Graduate Periodontics.
Dr.Chen’s philosophy of patient care is evidence-based and personalized, delivered with a gentle manner. Patients appreciate her calm, compassionate approach and her commitment to making each visit as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Chen has received multiple awards as an educator and researcher and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in dental implants, soft and hard tissue regeneration, and digital dentistry. She has also contributed to two global consensus initiatives and serves as a reviewer for several international journals. As an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, she actively teaches graduate periodontal residents. Dr. Chen also serves in professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, where she is a LEAD program recipient and member of the Innovation Advisory Council, and the Academy of Osseointegration, where she serves as an oral examiner for the Implant Master/Diplomate credential and on the Research Submissions and Clinical Innovation Committees.
She currently lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and their cat. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, painting, and photography.
